The Philadelphia 76ers recently defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, the new team of their former player James Harden. The game served as a bit of a reunion, and according to a recent article, there are no hard feelings between the Sixers and Harden.
“I don’t know if anybody is even mad anymore”, said Sixers guard Danny Green. “We all went our separate ways, and everybody is happy where they’re at.”
The article goes on to say that the Sixers players still have a lot of respect for Harden’s talents. However, they’re also focused on their own success. With the playoffs approaching, the Sixers are determined to make a deep run.
“We wish James the best of luck”, Green said. “But at the same time, we’re focused on what we need to do here in Philly.”
This sentiment seems to be echoed by the rest of the Sixers team. While Harden’s departure may have been disappointing at first, the Sixers have moved on and are now focused on their own goals.
